Shipping & Returns

delivery

We aim to ship all orders within 2 working days of confirming your order, providing the goods are in stock. Most products will reach you within 3 working days from shipping.  Please allow up to 5-7 working days for delivery from the day you place your order. You will be notified by email when your order has left us and if available you will be given a tracking number for your order. We make every effort to deliver your goods in the shortest time possible.

If the item which you order is out of stock, or is going to be delayed in any way, we will contact you via email and offer you the option to cancel should you not wish to wait.

Some of the products may be available for pre-order, this will be included in the item description with an estimated date of when it should be available. In this case, if you order more than one item they may arrive in different packages and at different times.

Some of our items will be shipped directly from our suppliers, the delivery time in this case will be included in the item description. If you have ordered items from different suppliers in the same order, they will arrive in different packages. We will advise you on your shipment confirmation email.

Shipping to all other Countries

Delivery in 7-10 working days however it may take longer to some countries.

£25 for orders to the United States, Canada, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand. If you live in a different country and would like to place an order, please contact us for a delivery quote. 

Import Duty and VAT For Deliveries Outside of the EU: Each country varies but if you are charged applicable customs tax or import duty, you will be responsible for paying all additional costs. Costs vary depending on the value of your order. We recommend you check this before placing your order with your local authority. Regrettably we cannot supply you with this information.

 

Packaging

We are as eco-friendly as possible, and for this reason we may re-use some of our supplier packaging for different purposes. Don’t worry if your order arrives in a box that doesn’t look brand new - everything inside it will be! 

 


 

Returns

We hope that you will love and enjoy your purchase! If for any reason you don’t, here’s what you can do.

 

How long do I have to return my item?

We accept returns within 14 days of receiving your items. If 14 days have passed, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it in the original packaging.

 

How do I return an item?

To complete your return and request a refund, please email us at hello@theroomalive.com and send your parcel to the address provided within 14 days.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Once your return is received and checked, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. This may take a few days to be processed.

 

I didn’t receive my refund, what should I do?

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first contact your credit card company and your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Can I return sale items?

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Can I exchange my item?  

If you need to exchange your item, send us an email at hello@theroomalive.com and send your item to the address provided.

 

How should I send my item?

You will be responsible for the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item of high value, we recommend that you obtain proof of postage and we would also advise that you use a tracked service.

We cannot offer a refund or exchange on any product that fails to reach us.

If shipping fragile items, please ensure they are carefully packed. We cannot offer a refund on items that are damaged when reaching us.
